PETITES COUPURES to screen in Competition at Berlin

PETITES COUPURES (SMALL CUTS), directed by Pascal Bonitzer, and featuring Kristin Scott Thomas and Daniel Auteuil will premiere in Official Selection – In Competition at the 2003 Berlin Film Festival.

The €6m co-production between France’s Rezo Productions and Axiom Films marks a successful run of Berlin festival recognition for Axiom Films, with three of its films THE BOYS (1998), BENEATH CLOUDS (2002) and PETITES COUPURES (2003) securing Competition slots in the last five years. The film is being sold by France’s Flach Pyramide, and will be released in France in February 2003.

In the UK 'Petites Coupures' has been licensed to Artificial Eye who will open the film initially in London on 29 August 2003.
