Axiom Films is delighted to announce that the company’s recent production, BROKEN LINES will receive its world premiere at Venice-Days (28th August – 6th September 2008). Axiom Films has bought all UK rights to Wim Wenders's Cannes Competition entry PALERMO SHOOTING from HanWay Films. The film has also been pre-sold in France, Germany and Italy.
Axiom already owns a significant proportion of the director's previous work, including all his early films, and Axiom's Director of Acquisitions, Rocio Freire-Bernat, commented:
We are delighted with this acquisition, which represents a logical extension of our long term objective of developing a library of high quality films from both emerging and established filmmakers, and especially pleased to be continuing our association with Wim Wenders, a filmmaker we admire greatly.
