UK producer / distributor Axiom Films will handle UK and Irish rights to writer / director Christopher Kenneally’s SIDE BY SIDE, which is presented by Keanu Reeves, who also produced the film with Justin Szlasa.

In SIDE BY SIDE Keanu Reeves explores the development of cinema and the impact of digital filmmaking through in-depth interviews with some of the most celebrated and influential filmmakers, such as James Cameron, David Fincher, David Lynch, Christopher Nolan, Martin Scorsese, George Lucas, Steven Soderbergh, Danny Boyle and many more.

The film premiered at the Berlin Film Festival in February and has since garnered critical attention and much acclaim across the international festival circuit, including in the United States, where it is being distributed by Tribeca Film.

Axiom Films is thrilled to announce that "The Girl", written and directed by David Riker (writer and director of award-winning "La Ciudad"), starring Abbie Cornish ("Bright Star"," Limitless", "W.E".), Will Patton ("The Mighty Heart", "Armageddon", "Entrapment") and introducing Maritza Santigo Hernandez as Rosa, will have its World Premiere at the 11th Tribeca Film Festival in New York (18th-29th April 2012) in the World narrative feature competition. Films in this section compete for the Founders Award for best narrative feature, best new narrative director, best actor and actress, best screenplay, and best cinematography.

Axiom Films is pleased to announce that "The Girl", written and directed by David Riker (writer and director of award-winning "La Ciudad"), starring Abbie Cornish ("Bright Star"," Limitless", "W.E".), Will Patton ("The Mighty Heart", "Armageddon", "Entrapment") and introducing Maritza Santigo Hernandez as Rosa, has wrapped principal photography in Austin, Texas after an eight week shoot which commenced on 9 May. In addition to shooting in Austin, the film was also shot on location in Oaxaca, Mexico.
